UPDATE 02.02.2024
2023 is in the books! We held great quarterly events that included Open Networking, Google and Yelp review swaps while speed networking, the Realtors Toolkit with presentations from specialty service providers, and an industry-wide trade show at Floor & Decor of Skokie. We are very excited for what’s to come in 2024
What we have coming up on Tuesday, March 12th, from 9am – 10:30am at the Skokie Park District Skatium & Weber Leisure Center, is a hybrid open networking / educational seminar with Q&A segment on zoning, permits, renovations, and other construction related ordinances, with an emphasis on policy at the City and County levels featuring Angel Schnur, Building & Inspection Services Division Manager for the Village of Skokie.
We will also be relaunching the Volunteer Planning Committee to help usher this group into the new year. The Planning Committee is for sponsors and members of the Real Estate Roundtable who wish to add their voice and help design the quarterly programs. The Real Estate Roundtable is a group within the Skokie Chamber of Commerce, designed to serve all professionals that touch the real estate sector – whether your industry is associated with the purchase/sale of property, energy, financing, appraisal, inspection or one of the trades. All allied professionals are welcome to attend meetings. Organizations that are members of the Skokie Chamber and submit the $100 Company Real Estate Roundtable dues gain free admission for all team members at these events and will be able to serve on the Planning Committee. Participating businesses will also be allowed to volunteer at the Car Shows, represent this group and your company as we hype up the October Community Expo Day at the Lincolnwood Mall. Organizations that are non-Chamber members or non-members of the Real Estate Roundtable will be limited to our regular meetings and subject to a per-person registration fee.
